Andy Nicholson, Archaeologist at Dumfries and Galloway Council, gives an illustrated talk about the Galloway Hoard. Discovered at Balmaghie in Galloway in 2014 it is described as one of the most important UK archaeological finds of the century, and the richest collection of rare and unique Viking-age objects ever found in Britain.
