This route in the Galloway Hills gives those who don’t want to tackle the really challenging routes a chance to capture a Corbett.
Starting south of the Stinchar Bridge the route goes over Cairnadloch climbing steadily to reach the high point of Shalloch on Minnoch (768 metres), for great vistas. We head south to the Nick of Carclach then the top of Tarfessock (a Donald at 697 metres) from where a steep descent leads to the finish near Kirriereoch
